This is an on-going project of mine, named ‘The Feminine Identity Project’.

This project is inspired by real women and their experiences and relationships with their own bodies and identities. The aim of this project is to normalize what is seen as ‘taboo’ by society and how society influences our relationships with ourselves and our bodies.

The women depicted here in this project are all real people who collaborated with me in life-drawing sessions and interviews to discuss how they see and feel about themselves, what they love and what they are insecure about, and the impact of outward opinions and attitudes.

The floral symbolism in this project is derived from the conversations that took place between us and is personal to each individual.
